Design Concept

The Horse of Qi Ascension - Rising from clarity, transcending in spirit, free without limit.

In ancient myth, the most divine of steeds was said to be the incarnation of a dragon on earth—a creature of boundless power and transcendence. This horse, rendered with minimalist lines yet immense dynamic force, rises with its head lifted high and mane flowing like waves through air, as though breaking free from bramble and storm. The wings that unfurl behind it announce its extraordinary origin—not a creature of earth, but one chosen by the heavens. Its presence radiates confidence and brilliance; it seems born not to chase victory, but to begin where triumph already dwells. This is not the struggle of ascent but the grace of destined flight, an effortless surge that carries it to the farthest heights.

Formed from crystal-clear liuli, the sculpture embodies not only speed but spiritual elevation. Within its luminous body, light flows like breath, revealing freedom born of clarity and transcendence. It represents a spirit that soars beyond limitation—a symbol of the soul refined through purity, rising unbound and luminous. Technically, the piece challenges the outer limits of large-scale balance, multi-surface time control, high-risk polishing, and the precision of pate de verre with liuli material. Wind, fire, earth, and air transform into four steeds— Excelsior, Blaze, Faith, and Ascension—each embodying a facet of life’s boundless vitality.
