Design Concept
Rising cloud-like in a fluid and dynamic sculpture work reminiscent of Taihu stone is “Infinite Eternity,” a statement on union and immortality that is as indelible as the motifs that the art piece comes with. Complete with exquisite landscape painting-like imagery, this work of flawless liuli design brings to marriage a picturesque scenery of union, longevity, and harmony with the land. Its extreme detail is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship and mastery of temperature-control in the forging of the glasswork. This classic pairing of cranes with pine is a cultural leitmotif—a nod of the head to Qing dynasty motifs—symbolizing an immortalizing of beauty that is well-emphasized throughout Chinese art history.
《和美久长》是松与鹤的辉映。松树，是百木之长，另在古籍中亦有记载：「松柏之有心也，贯四时而不改柯易叶。」因此，松树除了寓意长寿，亦象征志向与气节。仙鹤，是长寿有福之鸟，有千年为苍，二千年为玄的说法，也被比作君子的化身。既有长寿、富贵的美好祝愿，也是有志有节的赞美。双鹤，亦寓意忠贞不渝的爱情。因为在野生的环境当中，鹤的一生只有一个伴侣，一旦确立关系就必定是生死相随，所以双鹤，亦可用以祝福感情的深厚、美满、长久。鹤双翼展开的细部，需要投入的大量时间修形，这种其他品牌极少有的做法，最终却形成了鲜活的姿态，让作品更富生机。
