Design Concept

This piece represents victory, fortitude, and perseverance.  A single fish swims upstream, persevering and making splashes larger than one would expect for one its size.  The piece shows artisan glasswork with each delicate flare of a wave; using expert understanding of balance to achieve form.  The artwork demonstrates the power of one lone individual, and strength in determination.

一条自在悠闲的金鱼，哼着歌儿，顺着水浪向上游。金鱼，寓意吉祥，好运。金鱼跃在浪花的顶端，有“一跃顶尖”之意，作品整体呈现出向上的生命姿态，是对人生的一种激励。金鱼的头部是较为深红的颜色，恰有“鸿运当头”之意。上升的波浪，绵延成为代表胜利的飘带。金鱼跃在浪花的顶端，有“一跃顶尖”之意，作品整体呈现出向上的生命姿态，是对人生的一种激励。
