Design Concept
Arising from a cracked and rugged façade is the garden peony, a commonly understated flower known for its tenacious ability to flourish in unforgiving conditions. This glass sculpture piece brings to the home a modern touch, and expresses both beauty and strong-willed determination. The art piece represents the unstifled potential of will power and beauties both visible and invisible to the naked eye.
此款作品用夸张手法，表现了在恶劣的环境中，芍药奋力生长的状态，作品正面的一条裂纹，是生命顽强迸发的痕迹。芍药花以定色方式表现，浓烈的色彩，如舞绽放。背面左侧模仿大地干涸而龟裂的效果，与正面的裂痕相呼应。背面右侧为抛光面，以90°角的棱面，折射左半侧裂痕效果。底座则是大面积留白处理，澄澈透明。左右两侧的转角处，则营造出山石嶙峋的效果。芍药，耐寒、耐旱，具有很强的适应性。几近干涸的土地，一枝奋力破土而出的芍药花，冲破束缚，开得决然、浓烈。芍药花傲然绽放，是顽强不屈的生命意志，是无论何处都要绽放的决心。是生命意志在大自然中最美的逆袭。
