Design Concept

According to a popular Chinese legend, it is believed that when a determined carp successfully leaps over the final obstacle known as "the Dragon Gate," it transforms into a majestic dragon. This piece alludes to that captivating story, depicting two figures ascending with unwavering determination towards ambition and success. The LIULI artists pay homage to the virtue of persistent determination, emphasizing that success is attainable through unwavering efforts. Sculpted with exquisite craftsmanship, the artwork combines negative relief at the bottom with rising relief towards the top, serving as both a blessing and a reminder of the rewards that come with achievement.
