Design Concept

The Beauty of Harmony is small in size, but its diminutive form holds unbounded wisdom. This crystal paperweight continues a LIULI tradition of combining the Taiji symbol (yin-yang symbol) with the head of a dragon. Here, the dragon's body is drawn into a circle to represent the cycle of yin and yang, harmony, peace and wisdom. Its head is intricately detailed with a tendril motif. The design echoes that of China's "first dragon," a jade artifact from the kingdom of Hongshan. The glimmering amber and subtle coloration yield a powerful, enigmatic effect as only liuli can.
