Design Concept
The design combines the plump and abundant cabbage with a large, polished area at the base of the piece. The cabbage leaves are layered and curled, delicately thin and moist, and vividly green. A lifelike cricket rests peacefully underneath. This abundant nature embodies an endless vitality, presenting a scene of harmony and beauty. The whole piece resembles Tai Chi, with the abundant cabbage and the extensive polishing at the base reflecting each other as yin and yang, reality and void. The hollowed-out circle in the artwork serves as a portal of life. Smooth and harmonious, it offers a glimpse into the profound mysteries of life and the universe. The patterns at the root of the cabbage signify rising energy, vibrant and thriving, naturally unfolding, representing the fullness of life and an unending force.
这件作品将丰硕的白菜与底部大面积抛光设计相结合，白菜叶片层叠翻卷，生动自然。一只蟋蟀栖息其中，展现生命的蓬勃与和谐。整体形似太极，阴阳相映，镂空圆形象征生命的出口，寓意宇宙万象。白菜根部的琉纹象征向上的生气，展现生命力的无限延续。
