Design Description
Rendered in liuli crystal, leaves and fish become stars of the show, complimenting each other. Lotus leaves symbolize harmony, goldfish means abundance and good luck, this design creates an elegant movement of pure beauty in life. Two fish are presented in negative carving, but the polished surface on lotus leaves is used to show their movement and expression in the water. The process of sculpting is particularly complicated. The sculpture of the fish and the positioning need to be done prior to the prototype, then join two fish sculptures on the prototype with reiteration on the details of the junction being smooth and organic.
作品中的金鱼两两相对，荷叶在传统文化意象裡，常有“和美”的和谐之意。透过琉璃材质的透明表现，荷叶和金鱼成为了一个舞台上的瞬间定格，既有前景的演员，又有衬托的舞美场景。 金鱼用阴刻呈现，但用荷叶的抛光面展现鱼优游水中的姿态，工序雕塑时的技法工序特别複杂，用立体雕塑与定位后，再将石膏模镶嵌到整体的原型。为了确保鱼与荷叶呈现流畅的线条，需要反覆翻模圆形，确认整体雕塑细节忠于设计概念。
