Design Concept
Twelve Blooms is an exploration into opening the human spirit. Yang wants to excel in both creation and realism with a hope to render every flower she has ever seen in Liuli.
From a traditional Chinese cultural standpoint, the concept of virtue manifests gradually: the resilience of plum blossoms, the purity of chrysanthemum, the gallantry of orchids and the elegance of peonies. These twelve blooms form a blessed environment and are once again congruent with the Chinese idea of a blessed life.
With these twelve blooms, Yang gives us an eternally blossoming world of wonder. No matter where, everyone is blessed. Through color, Yang reaches inside her soul to tell us that each and every person has a flower that belongs to us.
Twenty years of soul searching through the depths of a multi-faceted soul has paid off – the dreams have come true.
花开十二，情感上得到全然的开展与释放，杨惠姗要做得更多，做到最真。她想把所有见过的花，都用琉璃材质做出来。
站在中国传统文化的角度，渐渐形成所谓的「美德」的意蕴。梅花是坚毅，菊花是清廉，兰花是君子，牡丹是高贵。而十二朵花的循环无止，成为当下美好的祝愿，这又与中国人常说的「泽及众生」的概念，如此贴近。
杨惠姗做十二朵花，让月月有花开，让每一个时候，都美好常在；每一个地方，每一个人，都被祝福。透过色彩，这是杨惠姗心里最想表达的事；她希望：每个人都有属于他自己的花。
二十年的探索是很迷人的，尤其，那个心灵深处的梦颜色，终于成真。
