Design Concept

Although in classic Chinese literature monkeys are depicted to be playful, mischievous and clever, that isn’t to say there cannot be wisdom found in their lighthearted demeanor. “The Mindfulness of Three,” seen here, is LIULI Crystal Art studios’ most innocently insightful from the Year of the Monkey collection. Taken from the saying “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,” it is a reminder to practice goodness, though carefree. The artwork’s technicality is well crafted, with the polished base of the banana leaf contrasting with the monkeys’ fur. This piece represents both fun and kindness.
